Missions

God pursues us every day, every moment. He longs for us to respond with affection and obedience. He longs for us to respond with worship.

We worship Him by the way we treat people, especially the unfortunate and unimportant. We worship by how we handle our finances. We worship at home, at work, at church.

"Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God-this is your spiritual act of worship" (Romans 12:1).

As Paul wrote in Romans, worship involves sacrifice. Sometimes it involves giving up our desires for His. Sometimes it simply involves giving up free time.

At Wycliffe, we know that becoming involved in Bible translation is a sacrifice. We encourage you to view it as an opportunity to worship, an opportunity to give yourself to God by participating in His work.
