A Disciple Maker's Strategy

Every Christian has been commissioned by the Lord Jesus Himself to go into the entire world and make disciples of every available and willing person. Following the model that Christ gave and laid forth in the New Testament: using a small group of ordinary men and training them, through the power of the Holy Spirit, to accomplish extraordinary things. It is possible and expected by using this strategy to reach every last person, in our lifetime, with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our mission is to be constantly on the lookout for men to train, pastors to influence and churches to educate with the disciple-making process. This process produces strong, stable believers that have a hunger and eagerness for the Great Commission of our Lord. Christ's strategy is designed to turn the focus of a church and it's people outward into their community and the world. We are looking for those that are searching for the focus, direction and fruit that modern ministry has failed to produce and truly believe by following the model Jesus set forth, we can once again see the church that produced the Book of Acts.

What is the Timothy Project?

The Timothy Project's purpose is to offer resources, tools and personal contacts to those who are committed to building disciple makers. We believe that Jesus was serious about His commission and fully expects each believer to have a strategic plan for world impact. This plan must include systematic curriculum and long-term focus. We are not affiliated with any single church, denomination or organization and are made up of common individuals who are intent on following Christ's model of disciple making. You will find that most of the curriculum found on the Timothy Project was written by Herb Hodges; who not only proclaims disciple making, but is also himself a committed, disciplined and strategic disciple maker.
