MCTS came into existence out of a growing conviction that the biblical ideal for ministerial preparation requires mature, seasoned and knowledgeable pastors teaching and mentoring those who give evidence of being called to the Christian ministry. We believe this approach reflects Paul's perspective in 2 Tim. 2:2. However, many pastors are not entirely able on their own to provide thorough training for young men in all the disciplines of theology - exegetical, systematic, historical and practical. Our vision has been to gather qualified men (experienced pastors with doctoral degrees) to labor together in a local church context to provide such training.
